The head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker issued a statement, which caused an uproar in Ukraine. According to Juncker, it is time to attempt to stop the persecution of Russian, since such an attitude to "the country gets the situation into a dead end".
European Commission President said, that Europe remains at odds with the Russian Federation on a number of issues, and geopolitical issues, however it is necessary to think not about confrontation, and the resumption of relations "with the country".
