Once again, the President of Russia, with his apt statement, puzzled the Western media. A new word for foreigners “podhryukivayut”, which he said, talking about American satellites, it seems, impossible to translate. May be, “the quiet voice of the pigs” (the quiet voice of a pig)?
Russian leader, without exaggeration, the whole world knows. And each of his public speeches immediately attracts the attention of Western media and politicians of different levels.. He is quoted, interpret, sometimes pull phrases out of the general context. Some of them baffle foreigners.
How to translate a new word into English, which sounded in his message to the Federal Assembly? “Grunt” - that's what Vladimir Putin said about satellites, all agree with their American patrons:

After the sacred “novichok”, “siloviki”, new word, almost unpronounceable for foreigners, sparked a heated debate. The journalists of the British TV channel RT offered their translation - “grunt along” (grunt together).
But soon an even better equivalent to the Russian word appeared. “grunt” – “the quiet voice of the pigs” (the quiet voice of a pig). Quite possible, that this will be the closest translation within the meaning of the phrase, said by the President.
Anyway, but the piggy bank of bright phrases of the Russian leader was replenished with one more. Everybody knows, what Vladimir Putin does not like “go for a word in your pocket”.
And his very first sharp phrase, which quickly flew to the people, It was “soak in toilets”. So he said in 1999 year, commenting on the launching of a missile and bomb strike on Grozny.
