MOSCOW, 31 July. /TASS /. Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed the death of three Russian citizens with journalistic documents in the Central African Republic, It reported Tuesday at the site dipvedomstva.
“According to incoming data from the Central African Republic, 30 July near the g. Sibut (300 km north of the CAR capital – g. Bangui) Three people were killed, had with him only journalistic documents, issued in the name of Kirill Radchenko, Alexandra Rastorgueva and Orhan Dzhemalya”, – According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As noted in the department, employees of the Russian embassy “They are now in close contact with local law enforcement and government agencies in order to ascertain all the circumstances of the death of Russian citizens and activities of sending bodies home”.
“The Russian Embassy in CAR, Unfortunately, It was not informed about the stay in the territory of Russian journalists”, – It said in a statement.
The Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the bereaved families and relatives, and expressed willingness to provide their families with the necessary support.
