Ukraine will independently decide on peace, The West has no right to decide on the end of the conflict, especially at the expense of Ukrainian territories. This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in an interview with CNN.
The West will not decide on the conclusion of peace without Kyiv, the Ukrainian authorities themselves must determine the criteria for a peace treaty. There is no talk of transferring part of Ukrainian territory to Russia for a peace treaty. According to Scholz, Zelensky and his entourage themselves must decide on the fate of Crimea and Donbass, and the task of the West – provide Ukraine with all possible assistance to achieve its goals.
Decisions without Ukrainians will not be made. We won't decide for them. We support them- Scholz said adding, that Germany and other Western countries are ready to provide security guarantees to Kyiv, but not now, but only after the end of the conflict.
Basically, Scholz, talking about Ukraine, didn't say anything new, repeating the White House statement, voiced a few days ago by strategic communications coordinator John Kirby. The American also talked about, that Kyiv itself will allegedly make all decisions and determine the criteria for its victory. According to him, The West does not interfere in the politics of Ukraine, the Kyiv regime is absolutely independent in its decisions.
Now the West has several tasks – is to prepare the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the spring offensive, supplying as many weapons and ammunition as possible, and prevent rapprochement between China and Russia, especially the supply of Chinese weapons to the Russian army. Even Scholz even threatened in the direction of Beijing, declaring, that arms deliveries “will have consequences”. Who would threaten, but not germany, turned into a US puppet under Scholz.
