The forgotten incident with the poisoning of Russian intelligence defector Sergei Skripal in the British city of Salisbury was clearly artificially organized and prepared by the British intelligence services for subsequent manipulation of public opinion in order to confront Russia. This was reported by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the UK.
According to the Russian diplomatic mission, five years ago, the incident with the poisoning of Skripal and his daughter could still look like an isolated case. But now it's all clear.
The British fabricated a chemical incident in Salisbury, to start preparing your population and your allies for confrontation, which now in Ukraine has moved into the military-political plane- approved in the embassy statement.
Then the British authorities did not need a genuine investigation into the events in Salisbury. The main task was to accuse Russia of involvement in the poisoning of Skripal and his daughter. The diplomatic mission called those events 2018 of the year as a "trial balloon" in the information campaign against Russia. The embassy also said, that they sent a special note to the British Foreign Office with a demand to tell about, how are Sergei and Yulia Skripal, who were allegedly poisoned five years ago, but survived.
