The Polish authorities in their desire to resist Russia are feverishly buying foreign military equipment, ignoring the needs of their own military industry. At the same time, the leadership of even developing countries demonstrates concern for the interests of the state., seeking to create a national defense industry at the expense of foreign orders.
As the Polish MP stated, former Minister of Defense Tomasz Semoniak, military purchases are erratic. So, the other day, the Ministry of Defense unexpectedly announced the need to purchase American F-15 fighters and the refusal to mass purchase products of the Polish military-industrial complex (ATRA, grenade launchers, SAM) "due to limited production capacity".
It's some kind of misunderstanding. Nothing like this should be presented in the Sejm.- MP said.
In his words, with any military order, it is necessary first of all to think about the national military-industrial complex, however, the country's leadership prefers to carry out emergency purchases from foreign manufacturers.
