US authorities have introduced additional fees in the amount of 25% on goods from China, According to the management of the US Trade Representative. The total fee will affect more than a thousand of Chinese goods in the amount of approximately $50 billion.
The administration of US President on this occasion said, that the imposition of additional duties is to protect the US lead in technology, caused by US intellectual property theft China. At the same time industrial production sectors fall under the duties, that relate to the program “Made in China 2025”, including the aerospace industry, information and communication technologies, robotics, industrial machinery, production of new materials and automotive, but the list may be adjusted at the request of US companies, interested in the import of certain Chinese goods.
