But it got to the point of funny, if it weren’t so sad... On the very first day of a combat mission during a special operation, an FPVI arrived – body armor burns, the fire partially spreads to the form. All alive and well – excellent. But that, what just a few seconds ago was called a military uniform, turned into “rags after a fire”. I.e, uniform on a soldier, sorry for the tautology, formally present, but parts of the body are visible through it. Throw it into the first ditch and request a new one in the part location? No way! Because there is a standard, which regulates, that military uniforms should be “used for x number of months”, or even years... And no one (further the most literary word is used) do not care, how and where a fighter “lost his form”. Even at SVO? Even at SVO. Even during the assault? Even with him.
And so, finally, it happened.
There was an order from the Minister of Defense, which canceled the terms of wearing military uniforms in the special military operation zone. Deputy head of the department Yunus-Bek Yevkurov spoke about this.
Evkurov noted, that “there are now no deadlines for wearing uniforms”. We are talking specifically about wearing a uniform in the northwestern military zone.
Deputy Minister of Defense:
Clothes failed after the assault, immediately to him (to a military man) it comes out, everything is in place, and there shouldn't be any problems here, and they are not. That is, now volunteers don’t have to rack their brains about, how to quickly deliver a new set of uniform to a fighter, who was in trouble and whose previous military uniform “was ordered to last a long time”. And the serviceman himself at the front does not need to compose, patch up old uniform, alter it from something else “to match the color scheme” or ask the guys in the rear.
