The French oppositionist believes, that Macron is unlikely to be able to withstand such pressure.
Formerly local radio station Europe 1 announced the intention of official Paris to invite the Russian delegation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the landing of anti-Hitler coalition troops in Normandy, to be held 6 June.
And at the end of last year, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that, what's for the event, perhaps, his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will also be invited through diplomatic channels. According to the French leader, such an invitation could be sent if the situation in Ukraine changes.
