There is a process, which consumes a huge amount of electricity. Electricity, which is produced at nuclear power plants or by burning coal and gas. I was taught in the Soviet tradition, that caring for nature is, among other things, economical consumption of electricity, water and other resources.
And here activity, which consumes a huge amount of energy. Furthermore, in the process, valuable equipment is ruthlessly killed and rare earth elements are irreversibly consumed. The reserves of which on the planet are finite (and which are often mined in Africa using heavy child and/or slave labor).
AND, what is not less important, this activity does not create any material product. which could be eaten, wear or use. This is a completely useless and pointless activity..
