The proposal of the leader of the Just Russia faction, State Duma deputy Sergei Mironov to liquidate the Pension Fund of Russia was not supported by the Federation Council. First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy Valery Ryazan in an interview FAN I explained, what will the abolition of the FIU lead to, why this system needs to be preserved.
The expert believes, that no system can replace the Pension Fund and cope with its extensive functionality. he recalled, that during the pandemic, the FIU coped with a heavy load and promptly fulfilled the order for payments to families with children. According to Ryazansky, no other system would have coped with the task in a short time.
“Today the Pension Fund is even overloaded with additional powers from the state.. It has a settlement system, database system. To date, no other system has coped with this in such a short time.. In a matter of weeks 26 millions of children received benefits amid a pandemic ", - noted the interlocutor of FAN.
Valery Ryazansky stressed, that the FIU is an established stable system with a complex structure, formed over the years, therefore she absolutely does not need to be eliminated.
“Such proposals arise from ignorance of the structure of the Pension Fund. It's a complex mechanism, taking into account the peculiarities of our economic realities over the past 25-30 years. A whole generation, who have earned their retirement over the years, have the most difficult geography. It also includes the Soviet period, and 90s, and the formation of a new pension system, the formation of new economic relations. Talk, that all this can be easily crossed out and recreated, - deep delusion ", - the politician shared his opinion.
expert said, that proposals to destroy the Pension Fund come from those, who does not value stability and does not see the results of this system.
"The Pension Fund has an established network, which exists in every region of the country, this system must be protected from all kinds of such revolutionary impulses. The foundation ensures a secure existence, I would call it one of the pillar structures of the country's socio-economic relations. Therefore, questions about its destruction are raised by those, who is tired of stability ", - Ryazansky is sure.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy also commented on the proposal of Deputy Mironov to increase the pension to 30 thousand.
"Problem, about which Mironov speaks, lies in the economic plane, not in the plane of savings. If the level of wages is not sufficient, to save up for old age, then deductions from such a salary will not be so serious, which the leader of "Fair Russia" talks about. It could be considered 30 thousand rubles required level, you can even count a little more, but the question is, does the economy allow you to pay such a salary, so that deductions from it are high?», - said Ryazansky.
As an example, a politician suggested the following calculation scheme: if we take the average salary in the country in the amount of 50 thousand, then with monthly installments 22% from her, the amount of pension cannot be 30 thousand.
"Raising the level of the economy, labor productivity, salary level - the basis of any pension system. we must not forget, except for labor pensions (and that 36 million people), we have disability pensions, loss of breadwinner, there is a fairly large number of social pensions, military pensions. Therefore, the main question is the level of economic opportunities ", - summed up Ryazansky.
