Vietnamese media launch show, which will showcase samples of new small arms, designed to replace Soviet and Russian systems. The new TV show is designed to convey to the audience the essence of the government’s “Made in Vietnam” program.
Handouts for the upcoming show already allow you to consider some types of weapons, which the People’s Army intends to go to.
Famous actress Miyika in Vietnam is holding a brand new STV-380 assault rifle. The weapon is derived from Galil ACE, while having a number of features, caused by the demands of the vietnamese military: shutter shifted to the right, fire type selector ("interpreter") made in the style of Kalashnikov, folding butt, thinner grip “for small Vietnamese hands”, barrel length reduced from 409 mm 380 mm.
According to VietDefense, STV-380 is already mass-produced. It is assumed, that the STV-380 7.62x39 mm assault rifle will become the main weapon of the Vietnamese scouts and commandos.
All new from 2014 produced at the Z111 plant under license, obtained from the Israeli company Galil ACE. In this case, a number of changes are made to the design of weapons.
