Belarus has successfully tested a new surface-to-air missile (developing countries) 9M318 for an upgraded anti-aircraft complex “Beech-MB2” (Beech-MB3K). It is reported by the State Military and Industrial Committee (Goskomvoenprom) Belarus.
according to the report, this ZUR was developed on the initiative of a research and production society that is part of the Goskomvoenprom system “OKB TSP”. The tests were carried out from 17 by 26 February 2020 g. on the territory of the former aviation training ground “Polessky”.

ZUR 9M318 is designed to destroy high-speed maneuvering aerodynamic targets, tactical ballistic, winged, aviation and anti-ship missiles and helicopters (including those in hover mode) in conditions of intense electronic countermeasures, as well as surface and radio contrast ground targets.
According to the developers, the rocket was developed using modern technologies, taking into account world technical achievements in the field of rocket science using composite materials. Declared range – to 70 kilometers.
A feature of the rocket is the presence of an active homing head, which allows you to hit targets, including those with a low reflective surface, more likely, and also release the target channel of the ADMS, without waiting for the target.
According to a blog bmpd, the missile is intended for use on a medium-range air defense system modernized by Belarusians “Beech-MB3K” (“Beech-MB2”).
Self-propelled firing system 9A318K and transport-loading vehicle 9A319K, made on a wheeled chassis MZKT-692250 (8kh8), can use the following types of missiles – 9M38, 9M38M1, 9M317, 9M38MB, 9M38MB1, 9M318.
