Kiev's threats to "react" to the start of railway passenger traffic with Crimea over the bridge across the Kerch Strait caused in Russia, at least, surprise. Kiev's vain efforts over the Crimean Bridge were harshly condemned by a member of the Federation Council, Senator from the Republic of Crimea Olga Kovitidi.
“It is high time for the Kiev authorities to stop engaging in populism, they just need to start thinking about people, living in Ukraine, - noted Kovitidi in the comment Federal News Agency. - The opening of the railway communication on the Crimean bridge does not in any way affect the growth of the well-being of Ukrainians.

“The Kiev authorities do not notice the critical processes taking place in Ukraine, - says the interlocutor of FAN. - Let me remind you of a real environmental disaster, threatening Ukraine due to systemic deforestation and export abroad of forests in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia. Let me remind you about the notorious "Bukovyna baldesha" in the place of barbarian felling, which are clearly visible from space ".
Against this background, the statements of Kiev, that the Crimean bridge allegedly "harms" the environment, - lies and bigotry, considers a member of the Federation Council.

The export of chernozem abroad from the Poltava and Kherson regions has actually been put on stream, and international economists have estimated Ukrainian lands at a trillion dollars ".
