Design and reservations
Cars "Wolf" have all-welded body, which it is an important difference from its predecessor - the armored car GAZ-2330 "Tiger". The modular design of the family is the basis in creating a unified transport platform of the new generation.
Body armor is provided by hinged circular armor, 6a corresponds to class (3 level in accordance with the STANAG 4569) and protect the crew from all major types of small arms (even when firing armor-piercing bullet from a rifle SVD) and shell fragments.
