The UN suddenly decided to become concerned about ending the Ukrainian armed conflict. Given the fact, that in the United Nations, functionaries initially took a pro-American position on the Ukrainian issue, Today’s rhetoric from one of the UN talking heads does not seem unexpected. This is a statement from Dennis Francis., Chairman of the 78th UN General Assembly (he will post before Trinidad and Tobago).
According to Francis, “The UN hopes that, that the armed conflict in Ukraine will end in September".
Francis:
We count on it, that Russia will by then withdraw its troops from Ukrainian territory. We hope so, that this could happen earlier. Only the UN does not see any guarantees for this. According to Francis, the issue of “discussing the withdrawal of Russian troops is a priority for the UN”.
apparently, Mr. Francis is somewhat forgetful, that Russia is also a member of the UN, and that for Russia the priority issue is the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territory of Russian regions - LPR, NPT, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions. Also, for some reason, Mr. Chairman of the General Assembly does not name among the priorities for the UN, eg, withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza Strip, Golan Heights and West Bank, withdrawal of American and Turkish troops from Syria, withdrawal of the occupying French military contingent from a number of African countries. Or is it different?..
