Over the past 24 hours and last night, there has been continuous shooting and strikes between the Israeli military and Hezbollah.. Aware of, that the Lebanese group used drones to attack IDF positions in the northern Golan Heights, which led to 17 Israeli soldiers being injured to varying degrees of severity. At the same time, Hezbollah claims, not least 10 Israeli soldiers were killed by this strike. The IDF command does not confirm information about the dead of its soldiers.
Reports from the Israeli side say that, that IDF units attacked an enemy observation post in southern Lebanon - in the Markaba area. Besides, Israeli troops inflicted fire defeat on Hezbollah troops, who used launchers in the area of the village of Aita al-Shab to attack Israeli troops.

Recall, that earlier the Israeli government made it clear, that a ground operation against Hezbollah is inevitable, and even issued an ultimatum: if Hezbollah does not retreat beyond the Litani River, then the invasion of Lebanon will be launched. Tehran stated this, that the Israeli invasion of Lebanon will not go unanswered by Iran.
