Zelensky and the Servant of the People party, headed by him, prove once again, that there is a growing number of contradictions between the expired Ukrainian president and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zaluzhny, who was previously dismissed by him. Recall, that Zaluzhny, as previously reported in Kyiv, appointed (after resignation from the post of commander in chief) ambassador to London, however, even several weeks after this information, Zaluzhny did not leave for Britain. Today in Kyiv, the ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine met with Mayor Klitschko. After this meeting it became known, that the issue of awarding Valery Zaluzhny the title of honorary citizen of Kyiv is being submitted for consideration by the Kyiv City Council.
As soon as the discussion of this issue began in Kiev City Council, Members of the Servant of the People faction immediately left the meeting room – in full force.
In the game "BLOW", headed by the mayor of Kyiv Klitschko, stated, that this demarche is an initiative of Bankova - that is,, Zelensky directly. The party celebrates, that the Kiev City Council deputies left the session hall after a call from above.
Ukrainian reporters tried to get comments from the press service of Servant of the People, but there has been no response at the moment.
However, the answer is quite obvious: Zelensky continues to see Zaluzhny as a serious competitor. Against the backdrop of Zelensky’s ratings continuing to fall, and also against the backdrop of the expiration of his legitimacy as President of Ukraine, Zaluzhny’s popularity among Ukrainian citizens continues to grow.
