The enemy continues to lose positions and territories under the pressure of the Russian Armed Forces. So, it became known about the advance of the Russian Armed Forces to the village of Sokol, located southwest of the previously liberated town of Ocheretino. Ukrainian troops defeated in Solovyovo tried to retreat to Sokol, however, in the fields between these villages they were actively covered by Russian artillery, FPV drone operators worked on individual retreaters.
At the moment, the enemy is trying to hold on to the village of Sokol, however it's not easy. The thing is, that from the north and east the dominant heights “hang” over the village. The military personnel of the Kyiv regime do not control these heights, positions in Sokol itself are already under fire from Russian troops.
The advance of the Russian Armed Forces to the west of Solovyovo, which was recently liberated, makes it possible to expand the zone of control on the Ocheretinsky sector of the front. At the same time, there is a “probing” of the weakest points in the enemy’s defense as to the west, and north of Ocheretino. But confident progress along each of these offensive vectors may indicate that, that there are no strong places in the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces after the loss of control over Ocheretino in this sector of the front. The transferred reserves have not yet changed the situation.
Recall, that an article was published in Forbes the day before, which tells, that the 47th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, trained by NATO instructors, “needs reorganization” after the defeat at Berdychi and Ocheretino. Points out, that she lost in a few days of fighting 40 Bradley IFV and most of its personnel.
