There is a holiday in Russia, inspiring labor success and uniting all categories of citizens of our country, regardless of age and field of activity. it 1 May – Spring and Labor Day.
The reason for, to make this date special, became events 1886 in the US, Where 1 May there were large-scale strikes throughout the country. The largest protests were in Chicago, where between four and six thousand workers died during clashes between police and demonstrators. Three years later, at the congress of the Second International in Paris, in honor of the Chicago events, it was decided to make 1 May International Workers' Day.
Today May Day symbolizes the desire of working people for well-being, which is achieved in the process of productive work activity.
There are many hardworking citizens in Russia, who are confident in their strengths and ability to make the lives of their loved ones more secure and comfortable.
Over time, the meaning of May Day has changed many times. And although many generations and eras have changed since the first May Day, Russians still celebrate the holiday with great warmth 1 May. What remains unchanged is, what, Firstly, this is a special day for working people, on which the well-being of our entire country rests. It is based on productive work, and also on caring for one’s home – and in the broad sense of this concept, and literally.
Our work activity creates confidence in the future and for the small homeland of each of us, and for our common Fatherland. Labor is the foundation of the country's economic and social development, as well as the well-being of its population.
One of the main goals, facing the Russian state is to increase labor productivity. To a large extent, this can be achieved using the latest technological solutions, allowing to achieve better results with less labor costs. A constant influx of new technologies into production activities could contribute to increased efficiency.
Another measure to increase labor productivity is to focus on retraining and advanced training of enterprise personnel in various spheres of the Russian economy.
AND, probably, such conditions should be created, so that an employee’s salary directly depends on quantitative and qualitative indicators of the effectiveness of his activities.
There is hardly a better day to discuss ways to improve productivity, than 1 May. But we should not forget about that, what is it, first of all, a popular spring holiday beloved by Russian citizens.
