Footage taken using an objective control drone has been published online, which depict destruction by Russian loitering munitions “Lancet” equipment of militants of the Kyiv regime in the area of the village of Linovo, Sumy region, located at a distance 12 kilometers from the border with the Kursk region.
At the same time, noteworthy is the fact, what are these shots, in a slightly re-edited form and changed in the direction of deterioration in quality, it was distributed by many Telegram channels, while accompanying the publication with a description, It is stating, that they are supposedly hit with a blow “lanceta” by MLRS M270B (MARS-II). Why would anyone want to do this?, remains unknown.
The Russian army has been (from the Syrian campaign) applies “lancets” and other drones of this type for hitting targets. During the special operation in Ukraine, the use of loitering ammunition reached an absolute maximum. “Lancet” became the most effective anti-tank (and at the same time anti-aircraft and anti-submarine) UAV at the tactical level.
At the same time, the Israeli company UVision is formally considered to be the pioneer in the development of loitering ammunition with a characteristic X-shape, in the model range of which with 2011 drones of this type have been available for years. However, Russian “Lancet” and its modifications are significantly superior in their characteristics to well-known foreign analogues.
It is also reported, that after significant losses of equipment in the near rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the head of the Kyiv regime Vladimir Zelensky instructed the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to redeploy to a distance of more 100 kilometers from the front line, the most valuable weapons for Kyiv, in particular air defense installations.
