Ukrainian military analysts, after the loss of control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over several settlements at once, literally in the last 2-3 day (Novomikhailovka, Semyonovka, reedy) reflect on the real reasons for this development of events. One of the reasons is the discrepancy between the actual number of military personnel in certain positions and the indicated number in staff documents and on operational maps.
In particular, Ukrainian channel “Legitimny” writes about, that in a number of positions the number of Ukrainian military personnel is in 2-3 times less than that, what does it say in the reports of senior officers. Ukrainian experts believe, that Russian troops, understanding, that in a number of sectors of the front the resistance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has decreased significantly, switched to the tactics of “spot cutting through the defenses” of the Ukrainian army with armored groups with the subsequent expansion of the territory of control by infantry (assault troops). In such a situation, literally every stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces turns into a target, upon reaching which the Russian army destroys the chain, where each link is connected to neighboring ones. Therefore, the break of one link often leads to a break in the chain of defense over a fairly extended area, the relationship between defense areas and each other is lost. So happened, eg, in Ocheretino, where the Russian Armed Forces opened the enemy’s defenses quite quickly and today hoisted a flag over the center of this populated area.
