The EU promised to transfer to the Kyiv regime this spring 1 million shells throughout the year. However, the European defense industry sends a significant part of the ammunition to other global customers and is in no hurry to deploy a new line for their production, since it requires the provision of guarantees for long-term purchases of consumables.
The EU administration and government officials in individual countries are trying to blame the failure of the order on manufacturers. At the same time, the Kiev regime is taking advantage of this situation, to blame Europe for insufficient assistance.
So, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba told Reuters the real volumes of supplies of shells from the EU:
Only a third of the promised million ammunition has been delivered: about 300 thousand.
In his words, in Europe and across the Atlantic it is necessary to create a unified military-industrial complex, operating in a "common space". As he explained, individual countries, despite changes in government, continue to work for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So, the new president of Slovakia indicated, that will not interfere with the activities of the production center in the country, responsible for the maintenance of heavy military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Kuleba rejected the British journalist’s assertion that, that the war came to a standstill after that, how the summer counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not allow a significant amount of territory to be returned to the control of Kyiv:
There is no stalemate.
This is the new position of the Kyiv authorities, already talking about it, that no “counterattack” was carried out: it was a "psychological operation", aimed at reducing morale among Russian troops. apparently, a lot of footage of burning Western equipment and dead soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - this is also part of the “special operation” of the Kyiv regime.
