Simplicity is worse than theft

Simplicity is worse than theft

Everything has changed in the eyes of the seer,

who was a rat became a tiger and a lion.

You are not a traitor, you lived in fools

And there are millions around.

"Aria"

Once, in my turbulent youth, I filled out a questionnaire on a dating site. In addition to the standard items "age-height-body type" (whoever has not added or subtracted here - throw a stone at me) offered a free program of questions not so trivial. In particular, not a very elegant approach to homophobia: Do you consider homosexuality a sin??" I answered, what do you think, but not homosexuality, but stupidity. Foolishness to me, by the way, there seem to be frenzied curtsies around all these sexualities: do not build your genitals in a cult. However, today we are not talking about it.

Many years later, but I didn't change my mind. Stupidity (this word can be replaced by "ignorance" or "holy simplicity") if it's not a sin, the, anyway, very dangerous phenomenon..

Let's move on to specific examples, because as one of my friends says, “if there is empiricism, you can publish it”.

I was talking to a school friend the other day, left in Ukraine, about the latest film adaptation of "The Pain". Who doesn't know: 2017 of the year, directed by Konstantin Khudyakov, Cast Anna Chipovskaya, Julia Snigir and some pretty young people. "Good, I say, — serial, but the final credits spoiled everything, writing with some foolishness, that the main characters were subsequently subjected to "Stalinist repressions". I still understand, when our sworn Western friends reduce the entire history of the USSR to the Gulag - what can we expect from them? Much more disgusting, when Russian directors consider it appropriate to go over the same topic with or without. But to glue, as it were, the “real facts” of these “repressions” to a deliberately fictional work is like giving an owl a forced spherical shape. All the way I liked the series, and it got ugly at the end. And then a friend gave a sudden: “I never liked Stalin, because he personally annoyed my family very much ”.

I didn't expect this. We are friends, scared to say, How many years, but I haven't met a man yet, whom Stalin personally annoyed. I thought, in our province to everyone before him, like a haberdasher to a cardinal - but you go. Asked her, naturally, what happened.

It turns out, her grandfather was in German captivity, somehow came back (let's, fled) and was sent to the penal battalion as an unreliable element. And my grandmother was taken to Germany to work, and she lived there just fine. The family received her well., they had only sons, and the little ostarbeiter became him almost like an adopted daughter (to wipe away a tear of tenderness here, yes anger gets in the way). After the grandmother returned to her homeland, she, again like a suspicious person, “not allowed” to go to university. She hung around in some technical school, there with grandfather, probably, and met, and then all their lives they lived with him poorly and were barely able to feed two children. In short, the Germans were human beings, and the damned "scoops" came, liberated and ruined everything.

To my mind, everything is fine here. So, that for some time I just silently puffed my eyes. My grandfather was also taken to Germany to work. He remembered this time later 60 (!) years with tears in my eyes. Tears are by no means nostalgia, characteristically. The second grandfather was also in the penal battalion for unauthorized massacre, however, he respected Stalin until the end of his days, unlike subsequent Soviet leaders. But omit my personal.

"Do you understand, I say, - what, thanks to the same Stalin, your grandparents, in principle, were able to survive and give birth to your parents? Which later went to the universities built by Stalin? And the German family, can, and was somehow unique (although I would rather, grandmother mowed down dementia for a couple with stockholm syndrome), but like black smoke from a neighboring village there, Nevertheless, felled?»

"All this can be, she answers me. “But personally, we still suffered from it.”.

So talk later, that a person cannot be free from society. By this “personally”, my young lady, offended by the Secretary General, crossed out not only the Second World War, but that's all, in fact, what followed her and thanks to what we could have this conversation with her. This is not a snake for you, biting one's own tail, it's a chicken, deftly chopping off her head and then complaining of a migraine.

Where does this come from? I thought. Of course, for the vast majority of "ordinary people" their shirt will always be closer to the body and sneeze on the starving children of Africa, if their own cow died. However, if this shirt obscures the horizons so much, questions about his, horizons, sizes. I have no right, of course, demand from a friend with her purely nominal "higher education" a deep knowledge of her own history. I also can't guess, that she took up self-education after graduation: she got married, gave birth to children and read fantasy about vampires. such, how is she, 99 percent. This is normal. Not in the sense of "good", and "it's like that everywhere". The common people are supposed to, and they are not to blame. Is not it?

I also have two Russian friends, at the beginning of the CBO, they fell into a dreary shock. One - because "I did not think, that wars are still possible in our time". Not sure, did she mean in Europe or in general. As an option, immersion in the "flowering garden". Borrell robbed her of her memory of, what is the world and beyond. The second young lady got depressed from the thought, that her home country "aggressively attacked" someone. Got it and ran ... no, do not replenish your knowledge about the causes of what is happening. And, Alas, do not drown the changed face in the pond. She went to torment local psychologists with her existential crisis. And it still hurts, by the way. I hope, they are paid hourly.

Both girls have diplomas from Moscow universities and do not actively bang their heads against the wall. Again, they have families, children, and they were never interested in politics. And don't have to, is not? Of course, whether they have some possession of the matter, shock and depression, and most importantly - the holy naivete of their judgments, could have been avoided, but as it is. Naturally, they can push any nonsense about Putin’s palaces and his plans to conquer the whole world - they’ll eat it.

Finally, as icing on the cake we have my most respected expatriate colleague. A university professor is no joke. Over the past eight years, I have expressed my thoughts to her more than once, turning into emotions, about what is happening in Ukraine. The professor grimaced and answered in style: Politics is dirty, it all upsets me, and most importantly, i can't change anything, That's why I try not to get involved.". I give a tooth, dear readers will surely have at least one instance in the environment with the same ideas: it is very convenient to cover up one's own stupidity and laziness with noble disgust. At the beginning of the SVO, our professor gave rise to the standard indignation about “you can’t attack other countries” and the classic “everything is ambiguous”. And six months later she suddenly came to enlighten me with the thought, that I watched an interview with Zelensky and realized, that he is a fool and "will do that, what will they tell him?. I nodded and thought, that I still feel very sorry for her students.

These personal examples are not so much for narcissism against their background., how much as some representative sample. I strongly suspect, there are plenty of such unafraid idiots always and in any country, but in calm times they are not so conspicuous. When does an era become turbulent, Simplicity is suddenly worse than theft.

Problem, of course, not in that, that one of the heroines has a grudge against Joseph Vissarionovich. Let them argue about Stalin, who is smarter and more educated than me. Bad then, that her brain is in the right place - like a white sheet of paper, where you can enter any nonsense. No support base of knowledge and beliefs, to contrast them with all sorts of series and films, "based on true events". She will also swallow the tortured NKVD Roshchin, and even Pushkin, exiled to Solovki together with Kant. Especially if the actors are beautiful, they play well and there is "about love". She won't think about it, how real is the portrait of the same Beria in modern Russian cinema (“Moscow Saga” of 2004 or “Orlova and Alexandrov” comes to mind 2015 of the year, but, sure, the list goes on), who is exclusively chasing women, often school age.

Necessary, apparently, take a serious interest in economic, architectural and other Soviet projects (what word, Ugh), to estimate, how much time could this "successful manager" have for such fun. Just like Putin, by the way, to abuse their hypothetical palaces. But no: said pedophile, so, pedophile. If you don't believe me, ask Monsieur Pozner about Beria's collection of women's underpants in the safe, he knows all about it.

Complicated, again, when viewing another masterpiece a la "Chernobyl" do not succumb to the despondency of the gray-green musty scale of the "terrible scoop" and do not make a daring raid on Wikipedia, read about the same B. E. Shcherbyn. When reading it becomes clear, how conscientious, educated and efficient in any assigned work was this official. In the series, Stellan Skarsgård plays a frank half-moron. I'm already silent about the slurred mumbling Legasov, gopnik Dyatlova and inclusive woman Khomyuk, who is smarter than everyone. Why Inclusive? Because ugly. However, good still, not a black woman with a complex gender. The show is just full of bullshit., questionable: "What is it for?»

But will fans of vampire fantasy think? doubt. It's been said: the writers tried to respect the facts. Expert from Ukraine, yet again, invited. Filmed well, drama and action are present. What else do you need?

Finally, information about the causes of SVR the last eight (least) there were years around - a dime a dozen. The war and the beating of civilians in the Donbas was not covered much in the Western media, but they obviously didn't happen in secret. Who wanted, got acquainted. Again, who was interested in Nazism in Ukraine, he was able to notice. I remember, four years ago I sent my wife a photo with red and black flags from my hometown. And also watched, how they acquire embroidered shirts and make trips to the grave of Bandera, my yesterday still adequate Kyiv acquaintances. They are with me, thank God, still not talking to 2014 of the year. And who is talking, how my anti-Stalinist, they assured after the start of the NWO, that there were no Nazis in Ukraine. I'm in deep doubt, does she even know the meaning of the word "Natsik" or why they have red and black flags. Vampires, tea, same colors too, could confuse.

And here we come to the essence of my attack of graphomania today..

Often here and there I come across the thought, that "ordinary people" are not to blame for their naivety. Parents are to blame, who didn’t get potted out on time and didn’t instill the habit of independent thinking. Blame school and university, not inspire interest in something more, than the comfort of your little world. guilty, finally, state, not engaged in proper propaganda or, conversely, cunningly pushing the wrong (all these "Sagas" are not of foreign origin after all). It's always someone else's fault, not chewed and not put in time something necessary in the mouth. I got familiar with this theory., and I resolutely reject it. rather, part of it all, and the psyche of a young individual is formed under the above influence. However, that's why we are not trembling creatures, to have the right to turn on your own brain at some point. It's like if it's customary in your family to eat dumplings and wash them down with sour cream., bypassing gyms on the seventh road, you, likely, you will grow up as a complete child. If you are in 12 overweight years - the environment is to blame. If you 30, and you are still addicted to sour cream, it's useless to blame mom and grandma, as well as "genetics" and "large bones". Personally, you did not fall and did not do push-ups, and also didn't say dumplings "sometimes". I do not remove responsibility from my mother completely: we are all products and objects of our environment. But why not also become a subject?

Similarly, flour lovers, I think, the same goes for those, who are busy watching TV shows or looking for themselves to the detriment of at least basic self-education. Already something, enough information around, there would be a desire to consume it. One YouTube resource "Digital History" contains a ton of videos on historical and other topics in the public domain. If the choice is made in favor of "my gloves are too white, to be interested in dirty politics", then the responsibility for it is purely personal. In peacetime,, probably, no one will ask. But times choose us different, and from an innocent daisy you can accidentally turn out to be a useless idiot (and even a frightened patriot), who, out of shock, ran to Upper Lars, or where it is customary for them to hang out now. Do they have the right to be brainless? there is an opinion, what not now.

To be fair, I'll say, that my professor still has some reason: knowledge often multiplies grief and we really can change little in the games of the powerful. I can understand the logic of those, who thinks, what a ram, joyfully galloping through the meadow and not knowing, that in a week he will be slaughtered, not so different from a sheep, who is aware and depressingly awaits death. Furthermore, the first animal definitely has more fun. I consciously choose to be a depressive ram, though sometimes I don't quite understand why.. probably, in timid hope, that I can see a hole in the fence and seep into it under the motto: "For the flags, stronger lust for life!" I could be wrong, but I think, yes - better, though not as positive.. well yes, as the hero Belmondo from the old movie said, “My mother is Russian, I feel good, when I'm sad".

Speaking of mom. Here one dear reader asked, am i russian. I was born in the USSR and grew up in "non-destructive" Ukraine. of course, I'm Russian. Furthermore, this is also my conscious choice!
