It was stated, that commanders, with combat experience, supposedly not “approached” Russian military department, where, in order to obtain an officer's rank, it is necessary to graduate from a special military school or institute. The Ministry of Defense refutes such statements, reporting, that both army corps became part of the Russian Armed Forces completely, with all personnel.

FROM 1 January 2023 of the year, the personnel of the 1st Army Donetsk Corps and the 2nd Guards Army Lugansk-Severodonetsk Corps in full force with equipment, weapons and materiel included in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation- said in a published official statement of the military department.

The Defense Ministry stressed, that the published information is not true, dismissal of officers of the People's Militia was not carried out. All personnel transferred to the Russian Ministry of Defense from 1 January 2023 years and is currently performing combat missions as part of a special military operation.

Not a single order of the Russian Ministry of Defense on the dismissal of the military personnel of the 1st Army Donetsk Corps and the 2nd Guards Army Luhansk-Severodonetsk Corps exists and has not been issued- MOD was added to.
