Turkey has full control over the attack drones produced by it and transferred to other countries, by installing the appropriate software on them. According to Baykar Makina Chairman of the Board of Directors Seljuk Bayraktar, thus the country ensures its own security.
Turkish drones, in particular Bayraktar TB2, equipped with special software, allowing them to be turned against their current owners in case, if drones are used in hostilities on the side of the enemy of the Turkish army. Baykar Makina admitted, that have full control over their products. According to Seljuk Bayraktar, it is common practice, all countries, producing “advanced devices”, control them.

At the same time, the company emphasized, that Turkey has close ties with those countries, where she sells her drones and she has no expectations of an attack from them.
It is worth noting, that recently the Turks have been quite actively supplying their attack drones to other countries, including European. To date, operators of the Bayraktar TB2 UAV are Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, a number of countries in Africa and Asia.
