According to Vladimir Putin, he instructed to include materials with a story about the genocide of the Soviet people in textbooks on the history of Russia.
The document, signed by the head of state, talks about the need to tell history textbooks to representatives of the younger generation, pupils and students, about the genocide of the Soviet people by the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War. These materials must be prescribed in the federal basic general education programs, as well as in programs of another level, including professional orientation programs.
Recall, that there is still no accurate data on, what losses did the Soviet Union suffer during the Great Patriotic War. According to conservative estimates, the war took 27 million lives of Soviet citizens. This is the highest price, which was paid in the fight against Nazism.
