The Russian command has concentrated significant reserves in the north of Crimea to strengthen its groupings, located on the territory of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions and is ready to bring them into battle at any time. This was stated in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine held another briefing, during which the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Aleksey Gromov, spoke about the reserves of the Russian army concentrated in Crimea. According to him, command of the Russian Armed Forces turned Dzhankoy and its environs into “largest military base”, where large reserves are concentrated, ready to go into battle at any moment.
The enemy keeps reserves in the north of the occupied Crimea to strengthen their groupings(…) The city of Dzhankoy and the surrounding areas have actually turned into the largest military base in the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimean peninsula, from where the redeployment of the Russian occupation troops is carried out, weapons and military equipment from the Russian Federation- said General.
According to the Ukrainian Intelligence, only in the area of Medvedevka in the area of Dzhankoy is concentrated over 750 units of armored vehicles, ready for promotion. It's southbound, in the north, Russia continues to concentrate the group on the territory of Belarus, where the training of units of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District of the RF Armed Forces continues at the training grounds.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is sure, that in the future the Belarusian army will join the Russian army to attack from the north. However, at the moment, the formation of shock groups has not been identified..
In the future, Belarus will continue to participate in Russian aggression against our state. First of all, by giving Russia its territory and airspace, stockpiles of ammunition and logistics- added Gromov.
