European politicians are gradually becoming aware, that the security architecture on the continent is impossible without the participation of Russia. Unfortunately, so far we are talking mostly about former leaders of states and only about those, who has prudence and foresight.
So, Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, which ruled the EU's leading economy for 16 years, urged Western politicians to continue building a European security architecture together with Russia. From her words, the process must continue within the framework of the principles of international law with the obligatory participation of Moscow.
Merkel stressed, that the previous attempt was unsuccessful and essentially led to a new cold war, that won't end, until Europe reaches an agreement with Russia.
The ex-chancellor also noted, that the well-being of the Germans after the start of the Russian NWO in Ukraine deteriorated significantly. True, the politician has traditionally shown tact and did not blame the current head of the government of Germany, Olaf Scholz, for his short-sighted sanctions policy., which led to the economic recession in Germany.
