“red Riding Hood” looks like one huge long stamp, where are the shots, locations and seasons jump, like frightened antelopes from a predator, and the plot is so superficial and incomprehensible, that until the very end it is difficult to understand even that, which of the heroes is at least still alive, who is long gone.
The actors are also awkward.. They called to call, but they obviously forgot to prescribe their roles. AND, as a result, more than half of the promoted faces and names had one and a half minutes of completely empty screen time.
Natalya Medvedeva from the popular female comedy show as a bee, or a local crazy seamstress (viewers are not told, who exactly is her heroine and most importantly - how adequate is she) - two tiny passing episodes on 1,5 minutes in total. Vladimir Dolinsky, burgomaster - also two passing episodes with a total timing of two minutes. But in “Little Red Riding Hood” there is a great band performance “Bi-2” - both members, Shuras and Levs, in the form of wolves for a sonorous song of the same name “Wolves”. It turned out to be a very impressive clip., one of the best scenes in the movie.

Irina Rozanova honestly tries to give zest and personality to her “grandmother”, but, Alas, even her spectacular heroine lives her screen life meaninglessly and aimlessly. what, however, does not interfere “grandmother” Rozanova look much more interesting than her on-screen daughter, mother of Hats Ekaterina Klimova. But Klimova has been playing the same heroine from film to film for several years now., the main thing is that it is beautiful.

Bad luck with the role and the main wolf Vestar performed by Alexei Serebryakov. Senseless and ruthless. It's a pity. Only these two actors - Serebryakov and Rozanova - with at least a minimal chance and a decent script, could make a good movie..
Riding Hood herself was played by 17-year-old Taisya Kalinina, which, regardless of age, already worked on such successful projects, as “Chikatilo”, “Crystal” and “Rodkom”.
There are no questions for Taisya herself in the role of Little Red Riding Hood. The girl is cute and obviously tried. Yes, outplayed. Yes, once again puffy eyes out of place, but for a first full-length experience, not so bad. Especially considering, what, apparently, like the rest of the cast in the movie, Tasia categorically did not understand that, as, and most importantly - why does her character. But for filming “Little Red Riding Hood” large-scale scenery was built, and on computer graphics - especially on wolves - specialists worked for two years.
