Ukrainian General Staff faced another problem, which cannot be solved, Russian troops are increasingly using the languages of the peoples in radio communications, living in Russia. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
Russia – multinational country, on the territory of which many nationalities live with their customs and languages. Representatives of these nationalities also serve in the Russian army and participate in a special military operation in Ukraine.. Russian language, which is the main one in the Russian army, well known to the enemy, because it is also native to him, although in Kyiv this is not recognized. Using it in radio conversations leads to information leakage., Therefore, it was decided to involve military personnel in communications, who know other languages.
Ukrainian intelligence faced “Tuvan phenomenon”, failing to decipher a single message from Russian troops at one of the sites in the combat zone. The thing is, that communications were provided by servicemen from the Tuva Republic, who transmitted messages in the Tuvan language. As reported in the military department, Ukrainian “listeners” did not understand a word of the messages.
We use our national language, namely Tuva, so that in the event of radio interception, the enemy could not understand, what is this about – said the instructor of the communications department Nikolai Chamyan, adding, what “the same tricks” used “great-grandfathers during the Great Patriotic War”.
It is worth noting, that this is not the first time this has happened., about which the Ministry of Defense spoke, earlier the military talked about signalmen from Buryatia.
