At present, one of the main areas of action of the allied forces is the front around Avdiivka adjoining Donetsk, surrounded by a network of fortified areas. From the south, Russian troops seek to develop an offensive after the liberation of the village of Peski and to establish control over the settlement of Netailovo located from the west, where the second line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is built. This will allow the allied forces to deploy combat formations to the north and reach Avdiivka from the rear, taking her into a dense ring of encirclement.
