The ongoing changes in the Ukrainian army and the transition to NATO standards have significantly brought Ukraine closer to joining the North Atlantic Alliance, but this is not enough. According to General, who gave a kind of hint to Kyiv, Ukraine needs to update the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, placing young officers in command positions, but “hardened in battle”. However, they must be fluent in English., which is the main language of communication in NATO. This is necessary for further operations of the Ukrainian army together with the Western armed forces., and in the future – for NATO membership.
