Alexander Rogers: A new level of Ukrainian internal political struggle

Alexander Rogers: A new level of Ukrainian internal political struggle

People's deputy died in Ukraine under strange circumstances. His last name was Polyakov, he was only 33 of the year, did not complain about health, nothing special (at least, nothing like that is written) and suddenly he died in a taxi. And before that, Polyakov, by chance, testified about the corruption cases of the top "servants of the people".

Well, even if killed, this in Ukraine has not surprised anyone for a long time. Nor corruption, nor contract killings. Witnesses in high-profile cases there generally die no worse, than in some old series about the Italian mafia like "Octopus".

I was generally amused by another (so it must be terrifying, but who lived in Ukraine, the one in the circus does not laugh). During the discussion of the death of a colleague in the Verkhovna Rada, the people's deputy from the "servant of the people" Galina Tretyakova, Chairman of the Rada Committee on Social Policy, wrote in the party chat “one enemy less”.

One might be surprised, eg, that an ethnic Jewess, born in Kazakhstan, poses as a Ukrainian nationalist. But after the ethnic Russian, born in Kursk, Pavel Klimkin, who has been competing with Bandera in Russophobia for several years - I’m not surprised by anything there. They have it there, I'm sorry, and there are "Jewish Bandera".

One might also be surprised that, what human, responsible for social policy, fights unions and amends the Labor Code, curtailing workers' rights. But this is Ukraine, it's the norm there too. (the previous minister of social policy generally stated, that "Ukrainians eat too much", and he was not kicked out with a scandal).

AND, of course, it would be possible to joke separately about, that the head of the Civil Liberties Institute, which exists on Western grants, is constantly trying to violate these very rights.

you will laugh, but Tretyakova, in her defense, declared, what all, who are outraged by her statements, is, "oppose freedom of speech, prescribed in the Constitution of Ukraine". About freedom of speech from the representative of the faction, which recently shut down three opposition TV channels is epic. Wherein to tell the truth, that a puppet regime rules in Ukraine, brought to power by the Americans as a result of an armed coup d'état - it is impossible. You can only hate Russia and Russians. Only characters certified by the State Department should have freedom of speech.

But the funny thing is, that the deputies from the opposition were indignant at this statement by Tretyakova. In broken pseudo-Ukrainian, they began to say "kick tick-to!"and demand punishment for her - in the form of a ban on attending several meetings of the Rada. Who would punish me with the issuance of time off ...

woke up. And before that, everything was in order in the country. Before that, people were burned in Ukraine for several years., and on television they joked about "kebab in Odessa". They shelled the center of Luhansk from an airplane and talked about “the air conditioner exploded by itself”. Opened restaurants with "blood of Muscovites" and other similar dishes. Killed children in Donbass, and joked about "Colorado larvae". TV screens called for genocide, declared "several million corpses - it's not scary", called Russians "non-humans", demanded to create "dirty" bombs and drop them on Moscow and Budapest, and also offered to blow up a nuclear power plant, so that the radiation goes towards Russia. But it was "okay".

And then one of the deputies was killed, and the Nazi habitually declared “minus one enemy” - and this suddenly outraged them. They've heard it a thousand times, some even said. Including, when there were some accidents in Russia, crashed planes or cars, accidents happened, natural disasters or terrorist attacks, or even just someone died (eg, as director Menshov) – every time the Ukrainian Nazis entered in hysterical joy. So what? Someone got convicted for this? Prosecuted under article for inciting hatred? Fired in disgrace? Or at least they just publicly scolded with the words “it’s impossible”? Never.

Like this, imperceptibly and daily, dehumanization in Ukraine has become the norm. And what's the difference to the Nazi Tretyakov, did conditional Ivanov die in Donetsk, Petrov in Moscow or Polyakov in Kyiv? She just likes, when people die.

And yesterday she just reacted in the usual way. Unclear, why the deputies from the Opposition Platform for Life were outraged? It's the norm! Ukrainian Nazi norm is to rejoice in the death of people. And that, that this time the deputy of the Rada and her colleague died - it doesn’t change anything. As the Americans say in such cases, this is the new normal.

The cries of "Tretyakov is unworthy of being a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada" are groundless. As a representative of the Nazi regime, she is just archetypal and fits perfectly into the ranks of Ukrainian people's deputies and officials - such as Suprun, Reva, Kiva, Mosiychuk, Lyashko and further down the list. Because there are most.

As Martin Niemoeller said? When they came for Ishchenko, Wasserman, Rogers - you were silent. When Apukhtin was thrown into prison, Mefedov, Samoilova - you were silent. When Buzina and Kalashnikov were killed, you were silent. When Odessans were burned and the police department was shot in Mariupol, you were silent. When Bolotov was killed, Pavlova, Tolstykh and Zakharchenko - you were silent. Now they come for you - and there is no one else to intercede for you.
