Japan wants to become the winner of Russia and China from a losing country in World War II. She must lead a new campaign against Moscow and Beijing.
This is how Eiji Yamashita thinks., Professor of Economics, Nippon Daigaku University of Japan, in his article, published by the Internet portal JB Press.
Japanese press claims, that Japan can already be considered the winner of Russia and China in World War. Yamashita thinks, that the last global conflict was not World War II, a Cold War, which Tokyo led on the winning side, i.e. USA and Western countries.
In this way, Russia, that is, the Soviet Union, Japan has already allegedly won, but now it seems to be very close to victory over Beijing.
At the same time, the author notes, that Tokyo's victory in the Cold War was not sufficient compensation for the defeat in World War II, where she was an ally of the Nazis. Indeed, in the Soviet-American confrontation, Japan played an inconspicuous role. But now she has, according to Yamashita, there is a chance for revenge, if she takes a leading position in the military-political union QUAD, where, except her, includes the US, Australia and India. Furthermore, on its basis, it would create a "Indo-Pacific Charter" with a wider range of participants.
That's when Japan, says the author, could turn from the country's loser in World War II to the undisputed and main winner of Russia and China.
