Although originally planned, that they will work almost until the end of July.
What exactly is the reason for the decision to reduce the work of the outgoing convocation by actually a whole month (of course, with the preservation of parliamentary salaries) still unclear. Unofficially considered, that in this way the parliamentarians will have more time to “hill up” voters. So, the signing of a presidential decree on setting the date for elections to the State Duma is expected this week, after which the parliamentary parties will start nominating their candidates.
At the same time, Okhotny Ryad does not see big problems with the upcoming elections.. At the suggestion and with the support of the presidential administration, the current deputies have placed insurmountable legislative barriers in the way of all, who could seriously compete with them and or, least, make nervous during the election campaign. And since no serious rivals are foreseen, then there is no particular need to try to appease the electorate in every possible way by distributing campaign gifts.
Although in fairness it must be admitted, that the number of useful laws, adopted in recent months by the State Duma, slow, but still creeping up. true, it's mostly about the little things, how the deputies themselves express themselves, "Point problem solving". So, only one meeting, on Tuesday, 15 June, the deputies adopted several popular bills at once - they forbade collectors to pester family members, other relatives, neighbors or fellow debtors; allowed brothers and sisters, regardless of registration, to go to the same school; made it easier for minors to travel abroad (for treatment); allowed farmers to build a house in the field, where do they work etc.. d.
But the Russian soul requires scope. In the case of laws, it means a request for such legislative solutions, which everyone has been waiting for. for example, on the abolition of the increase in the retirement age or on, to immediately give out a free apartment at the birth of the first child.
However, in this case, legislators would have to cross an informal “red line” and enter into an argument with the government., fraught with the most negative consequences for them. Only the subject parliament can afford such a thing.. With regard to the current State Duma, something similar happens only in the case, when deputies manage to hide behind the president.
