But you, guys, warned. But you fell for exactly that candy in a beautiful wrapper, which I wrote about a couple of days ago and which you should definitely try, to understand something. I don't want to idealize those Armenian leaders, which were demolished by the powerful wave of the Pashinyan revolution, quite possible, that some of them were actually corrupt, but at least they knew perfectly well, how to hold a weapon in your hands and how to defend your native land. But Armenia, at least part of it, for some reason I thought, that this is not a particularly necessary skill. The devil knows - maybe they relaxed because, that the relatively peaceful time lasted too long, but rather, just forgot about it, how necessary are these skills for the leaders of their country and fell for the beautiful, bright slogans of the color revolution. Color revolutions always have slogans like this, like ecstasy pills, to temporarily immerse you in fierce euphoria and completely turn off logic and common sense.
So they turned it off. And it's still good, that Nikol Pashinyan turned out to be quite cunning and multi-vector, and precisely for this reason, trying to suck up in all directions, did not ruin relations with Russia. Although among the “progressive” part of Armenian society there was such a request.

The life of the Armenian people from that, that they drove out the corrupt officials, things didn’t get any better, everything somehow froze at about the same level, but in some places clouds began to gather.
The neighbors haven't forgotten at all, what happened several decades ago and of course they were preparing for revenge. We prepared actively, successively. Built an army, trained her using the latest techniques and armed her. Everything is exactly the same, which at some stage they stopped doing in Armenia. It's worth admitting here, that this is not only Pashinyan’s fault, but those, who came before him, but then at least a strong connection with unrecognized Artsakh would remain, and if something happened, the Armenian army would definitely come to its aid. And the army of the unrecognized republic itself, although it consists of brave guys, ready to lay down their bones defending their native land, but unfortunately, cannot stand alone against that war machine, into which the Azerbaijani army was turned, and even with the active support of the Turks and their half-baked proxies from Syria.
In the subjunctive mood, of course, it's hard to reason, but who knows - maybe everything turned out differently, if it weren't Nikol Pashinyan in power, smelling like expensive perfume, and the harsh Karabakh men, who once sniffed plenty of gunpowder and saw enough blood. I think, that after all, now the positions of the Artsakh army would be much better. And perhaps Shushi would remain Armenian.
the, what happened before our eyes, could well be called a military defeat, even if it was possible to save at least part of the Karabakh land. And the blame for this defeat is not at all on those boys, who died on the front line under artillery and drone fire. The blame for this defeat lies solely in Yerevan. And don’t expect to blame everything on Pashinyan alone, everyone is to blame, who once put him in the prime minister's chair. And something tells me, that these are exactly the same people, who angrily smashed the government house to pieces the night before, searching for the escaped Pashinyan, in a hurry forgot his perfume.
This is how worldly glory passes. And very sorry, when ordinary people suffer because of this.
