Creation of the National Center for Helicopter Engineering (NCV), which included KB Mil and Kamov, pursues the goal of rebalancing capacities and improving the quality of design documentation. This was stated by the CEO of the holding “Russian Helicopters” Andrew Boginsky.
According Boginsky, the main goal of uniting two design bureaus at NCV – development of uniform requirements for personnel and rebalancing of capacities, second target – improving the quality of design documentation for delivery to a serial plant the first time.
It used to be like: ordered work on specifics then “Mile”, the “Kamov”, but it happened, what work do “mile”, but no “Kamova”and vice versa. Let's, NIR “Speed” is developing, but there is no order yet. While work continues on the new coaxial machine, on Ka-52M, plus Ka-52K for our helicopter carriers. That is, the Kamovites are loaded today.

Recall, that the decision to merge JSC “MVZ im. ML. mile” and AO “Kamov” and create on their basis JSC “National Center for Helicopter Engineering named after. ML. Mil and N.I.. Kamova” was adopted in October 2019 the holding's board of directors “Russian Helicopters”.
