Jan Böhring, former mayor in the Swedish city of Umeå, proposed to demolish a statue of King Charles XII installed in the center of Stockholm. He considers, that in its place you need to erect a monument to Grete Thunberg.

King Charles XII, who ruled the country at the end of the 17th and the beginning 18 century, participated in numerous wars against various countries of Europe, including against Russia. It was his army that Peter the Great defeated in the Battle of Poltava.
