Like any serious crisis, the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic will positively affect the development of healthcare in Russia, believes member of the State Duma committee on health Boris Mendelevich.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said, that the coronavirus epidemic Russia will overcome sooner or later, but the country faces large-scale tasks to develop health infrastructure in the regions. Boris Davydovich believes, that the coronavirus epidemic will allow us and the state to treat physicians in a completely different way and turn even more towards domestic health care.
“I really hope so, that this crisis will allow Russian healthcare to make a major leap forward. We have already discussed issues within the framework of our committee and at the meeting with the Minister of Health, concerning the future, ie. period, which will come after the crisis. And I suppose, what many people think about it, therefore, some things will be seriously reformed ”, – Mendelevich concludes.

Deputy Director of the Institute of History and Politics, Moscow State Pedagogical University Vladimir Shapovalov in conversation with ABF "Economy Today" confirmed, that our country will be able to bring a lot of benefits from those measures, which she is taking against the coronavirus pandemic, as these investments do not go to nothing, and develop the national economy.

For this reason, this crisis is a powerful impetus for the development of not only the healthcare system and medical science., but also the entire national economy and the social sphere ”, – summarizes Shapovalov.
Vladimir Leonidovich believes, that we can extract positive effects even for the development of our political system. obviously, something, how communication takes place and decisions are made, should be an element of analysis, on the basis of which public administration will develop in the coming decades.

Vladimir Leonidovich sure, that the state needs to pay attention to the number of doctors in terms of population, as well as the development of the primary level of Russian medicine.
