Thirty-one pupils of the St. Petersburg Nakhimov Naval School, Arrived in Moscow for training Victory Parade, got coronavirus. It is reported by the Ministry of Defense.
according to the report, infection 31 Nakhimovtsa was identified during preventive testing for coronavirus. Total was tested 155 school pupils, 31 the test gave positive results. At the same time, the military claims, that Nakhimovites did not participate in training in Alabino, and the cause of the infection could be the contact of one of the teachers with infected civilians in Moscow.
Status of all infected – normal. There are no symptoms of respiratory disease. Body temperature is normal. All of them are under round-the-clock supervision of military doctors and receive the necessary treatment.
– said the Ministry of Defense, adding, that all infected were transferred to one of the sanatoriums of the Ministry of Defense for quarantine.
The rest of the pupils and teachers who came into contact with the infected are in quarantine at the place of stay.
On the eve reported, that at the Tyumen Higher Military Engineering Command School, coronavirus infection was detected in 14 cadets and one civilian specialist. The school is closed for quarantine.
Earlier it was reported, that Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to postpone the Victory Parade to a later time, new date for the parade, as well as processions “immortal regiment” to be determined later, taking into account the development of the situation with coronavirus.
