According to him, Americans do not hide, that they use the "viral baton" in relation to countries, in which they want to change the regime. for example, they do not listen to the words of the UN Secretary General António Guterres, who calls for the lifting of sanctions on Iran and Venezuela in a pandemic situation.
"Not, Americans say. It turns out, that the richest country cannot cope with these challenges, but in relation to others tries to use an unfavorable situation, to remove the sovereign authorities there", — the politician commented on the behavior of Washington.
American diplomats, reminded Klimov, also offer to take advantage of the difficulties with the pandemic, to put pressure on Russia and force it to return Crimea to Ukraine.
In its turn, politicians in the EU are trying to misinterpret Russian aid to some countries, e.g. Italy and Serbia, where our military personnel risk their health to save people. Klimov noted, that the EU interprets this assistance in a purely anti-Russian format.
