On Tuesday, 8 October, on a conference call at the Russian Defense Ministry said Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu. According to him, on the basic patterns targets procurement and modernization carried out on 47%. This rate of supply of high-tech weapons 6,7% more than last year.
Over 70% of these funds is directed to the serial procurement of modern weapons and equipment, - Shoigu.
He also stressed, that before the end of the year the share of modern weapons in the Russian army will be 68%.
