On Saturday 17 August ended with the fifth anniversary international military games “Army, 2019”. Announced the closing of their Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at a ceremony in the Moscow park “patriot”.
The Russian Defense Minister thanked defense ministers and the leadership of those countries, whose teams took part in the military games. According to him, games – an opportunity to show my technique and look at the equipment to other countries, see trends.
Five years ago, when we started it all, we had no doubt, that such games need, but did not think, that they acquire such a broad scale. And today in ten countries around the world are playing army, 39 countries sent their teams

Shoigu noted, that new forms of competition will be introduced in the future of the competition program will be expanded and it, in particular, night shooting, as many countries want to compete in this discipline.
Of course, in his speech, the Minister of Defense did not avoid participation in military games, teams from NATO. He declared, Russia and the other countries participating “Army” will be happy to see the team members of the alliance and ready “look, , what they can”.
To begin with, we will be glad to see our games any of the NATO countries. And we will be glad not only to meet them here, but look at their technique, look, what it can. Because it is better to understand each other here, than waiting, when to imagine it any other possibility. I would not want such a possibility

Recall, that international military games “Army, 2019” passed with 3 by 17 August in the territory 10 states. the team participated in the various disciplines of the army 39 nations, of them 7 countries made their debut. We did not participate in the competition, but to send observers 5 nations: Brazil, USA, France, Turkey and Slovenia. All in all, invitations have been sent 85 countries.
