The airborne troops in the near future will be formed for another five tank battalions. This was stated by the head of the Duma Committee on Defense, former Commander of the Airborne Forces Vladimir Shamanov.
According to the ex-Commander of the Airborne Forces, the recent structural changes take place in the Airborne Forces, aimed at establishing new connections.
