The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will receive a joint automated digital communication system (OACSS), leads the Red Star message of the head of the Main Directorate of Communications, Colonel-General Khalil Arslanov.
According to Arslanov, this system is created on the basis of domestic developments in the field of digital satellite, tropospheric, radio-, radio relay, as well as digital data transmission systems using fiber-optic technologies.
Satellite communications play an important role, which will connect subscribers of different ranks - from strategic command posts to mobile posts in the tactical link. Today, work is underway to create a satellite communication system of the 3rd stage. Designers create new communication orbital vehicles and ground stations, sea and airborne.
he reported, that the new system will include radio stations 6 generation, able to "build cognitive radio communication networks with increased bandwidth" in the face of unintentional and organized interference.
For the functioning of a single circuit, the troops are already supplied with universal wearable kits and complexes, having small weight and dimensions and ensuring the transfer of information when exposed to enemy radio suppression.
This ensures the creation of a unified command and control system for troops and weapons., communication, intelligence, EW, navigation and identification.
