The Surgut authorities are busy conducting an investigation into the supply of first-graders in local schools with diaries with strange “state” symbols.
A few days ago, photographs of this symbolism appeared on social networks.. A double-headed eagle holds a hammer and sickle in its paws. Moreover, in the very description in the same diary it was stated, that he holds “scepter and orb”. Why did the sickle become a power?, and the hammer is a scepter, or vice versa, – the authors of this “work” did not explain. Either the author's joke or an attempt to connect symbols from different times, gone “to the masses”, or a big mistake with a reference to the Austrian coat of arms.
Local authorities note, that as a result of the ongoing inspection, all persons, guilty of distorting the state symbols of the Russian Federation and coordinating materials, not corresponding to real symbolism, will be punished. How exactly are they going to punish diary authors in Surgut?, not reported.
This case is far from the first of its kind.. Either due to some stupid mistake, or quite deliberately, recently printed materials with distortions often appear, eg, history of the Great Patriotic War.
