As stated in the explanatory note to the adopted law, Ukrainian defense enterprises were not able to fulfill their obligations to supply military goods due to the introduction by Ukraine of sanctions against Russia. Russian companies, despite “on force majeure” continue to demand through the courts the return of money paid in advance, debts, fines and penalties. According to the adopted law, It is now prohibited to collect and demand penalties from the Ukrainian defense industry companies, that should “aggressor country”, and forcibly collect debts.
After adoption Rada of the law, he will go to the signature of the President of Ukraine, who will sign it anyway. The law will come into force on the day following publication.
