Rybinsk plant tank (in a number of publications also meets the definition of Rybinsk tank) - medium tank project, developed in the Russian Empire 1915-1917 years. One of the most mysterious armored projects, created in Russia during the First World War - the information on it is very limited and is sketchy.
According to the most common version, Tank was created with the use of an agricultural tractor units and is largely based on the French experience of the creation of tanks. There is also reason to believe, that the design of the basis was not adopted in France, Colonel Etienne project 1915 of the year. but, anyway, the creation of the tank did not work from the design stage - the initial draft, proposed military department at the end of 1916 of the year, I did not have a detailed description and was presented only in a general way, and events 1917 year put an end to further work in this direction.
