Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. During the conversation, the topic of political prisoners exchange has been raised, as well as meeting human rights commissioners of the two countries with the prisoners nationals. The Kremlin's official report states, that during the conversation the presidents of the two countries were highlighted humanitarian issues, including the exchange of detained persons. Particular attention Vladimir Putin pointed to the need for the immediate release of Russian journalists, illegally detained in Ukraine. The two sides also discussed the situation in the south-east of Ukraine, and the progress of the Minsk "package of measures" and the upcoming 11 of June in Berlin meeting of foreign ministers "Norman format" states.
